धारा 12E · Oath of office

(1)

[Every person] [Substituted by U.P. Act No. 9 of 1994.] shall, before entering upon any office referred to in Sections 11-A, 12, 43 or 44 make and subscribe before such authority as may be prescribed on oath or affirmation in the form to be prescribed.

(2)

Any member who declines or otherwise refuses to make and subscribe such oath or affirmation as aforesaid shall be deemed to have vacated the office forthwith.
