CyberYukti — Empowering your digital life
CyberYukti is an independent Indian platform that makes the law, and help against cybercrime, easy to find and easy to understand. It is available at cyberyukti.com and in the LawBook app for Android. Everything is in Hindi and English.
Why we built it
When someone loses money to an online fraud, the first hours matter most. Yet the law they need is spread across many Acts, written in difficult language, and recently renumbered by the new criminal laws. CyberYukti puts the law, the steps to take and the people to call in one place, in plain words.
What you will find
- Law library. Central and State Acts arranged by chapter and section, and the Constitution of India with its parts, schedules and amendments.
- Law compare. Old and new sections side by side: IPC and BNS, CrPC and BNSS, and the Evidence Act and BSA.
- Legal tools. Calculators and decoders for everyday questions: what an FIR's sections mean, likely punishment, bail eligibility, limitation periods, cheque-bounce deadlines and the right consumer forum.
- Legal guides. Your rights on arrest, how bail works and where to complain, each with the section it comes from.
- Offence checker. Whether an offence is cognizable, bailable or compoundable, and which court tries it.
- Cyber Zone. Step-by-step help for common frauds, the 1930 helpline and State cyber cells, real case studies and why reporting within a day matters.
- Cyber Blog and Legal News. Explainers on cyber safety, and legal news written by our editors.
- More. A legal dictionary, ready-to-fill draft letters and applications, and practice quizzes for students.
- In the LawBook app. Everything above, plus Bills, repealed Acts and rules, saved items, notes and offline reading.
Who it is for
Citizens who need to understand their rights, victims of cyber fraud who need to act quickly, students preparing for law and judiciary exams, and professionals who want a fast reference.
