Section 12 · Adoption by the State Government of approved scheme

(1)

After such modification of the draft scheme as appears to be required by any objection made under the previous section of otherwise, the State Government may, if it thinks fit to proceed with the scheme, notify the same as approved by publication in the [Official Gazette] [Substituted by Rajasthan Act

[13-8-1957].] and thereafter it shall be entitled to carry out such approved scheme in accordance with the provisions of this Act:Provided that if the scheme has in the opinion of the State Government been substantially altered, the provisions of section 11, shall apply to the amended scheme.

(2)

The publication under sub-section (1) of a scheme as approved shall be conclusive proof that any consent recorded therein has been duly obtained, that the scheme will benefit the area specified therein in that behalf (hereinafter called the benefited area), and that the scheme has in all respects been duly prepared and approved.
