Section 2 · Definitions

- In these Rules-

(a)

"The Act" means the Bihar Home Guards Act, 1947;

(b)

"The Inspector-General" means the Inspector-General of Home Guards;

(c)

"The Commandant" means the Commandant of Home Guards;

(d)

"District Magistrate" includes the Additional District Magistrate of Saharasa and the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad;

(e)

"Form" means a Form set out in the Second Schedule to these Rules; and

(f)

"Home Guards Force" means the force consisting of the class of officers and men referred to in Rule 3.
