Section 18 · Superintendence

(1)
The District Magistrate assisted by the Superintendents of Police, or such officer as may be appointed by the State Government in this behalf, shall exercise through the officers of the Home Guards Force general superintendence, direction and control of the Home Guards functioning in his district. The Inspector-General or the Commandant shall exercise similar superintendence, direction and control of the Home Guards throughout the State.(2)
Reports for prosecution under sub-section (2) of Section 6 or Section 10 of the Act shall pass through the Company Commander before submission to the District Magistrate.Your private note on this section
