Section 173 · Retail 'on' and 'off' licences

- Licenses for the retail sale of foreign liquor (other than rectified spirit and denatured spirit) for consumption 'on' or of' the premises, shall be granted by the Deputy Commissioner with the previous sanction of the Commissioner on payment of fees prescribed in Rule 191 of these rules.A separate licence shall be required in each case for the privilege of selling liquor for consumption 'on' or 'off' the vendor's premises.
