Section 16 · Issuing of summons

(1)

Every summons issued in physical mode, shall be in writing, in duplicate and shall be signed and sealed by the presiding officer of the Revenue Court issuing it or by such person as he empowers in his behalf.

(2)

Every summons issued in electronic mode shall be electronically signed by the presiding officer of the Revenue Court issuing it or by such person as he empowers in his behalf.

(3)

Every summons shall specify the time and place at which the person summoned is required to attend, and also whether he is required to give evidence or to produce a document.
