Section 2 · Definitions

- In this Adhiniyam, unless the context otherwise requires -

(a)

"Ordinance" means an Ordinance of the University;

(b)

"Sponsoring Body" in relation to a University means-
(i)a society registered under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registrikarau Adhiniyam, 1973 (No. 44 of 1973);
(ii)any Public Trust; or
(iii)a Company registered under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (No. 1 of 1956);

(c)

"Statute" means a Statute of the University;

(d)

"University" means a University established under sub-section (1) of Section 5.
