Section 32 · Power to remove difficulties

(1)

If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the Government may, as occasion arises, by an order published in the Official Gazette, do anything not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, which appears to it to be necessary or expedient, for removing the difficulty:Provided that, no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act.

(2)

Every order made under sub-section (1) shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is made, before each House of the State Legislature.NotificationsG. N. W. R. D. Part IV-B, page 610) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 3 of section 1 of the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority Act, 2005 (Maharashtra XVIII of 2005) the Government of Maharashtra, hereby directs that the said Act shall come into force on the 8th June 2005.G. Part IV-B, page 705). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (l) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority Act, 2005 (Maharashtra XVIII of 2005), the Government of Maharashtra hereby,-

(i)

establishes an Authority to be known as "Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority" for the purposes of the said Act; and

(ii)

appoints Shri Ajit Nimbalkar, as the Chairperson of the said Authority.

Part IV-B, page 4). - Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority Act, 2005 (Maharashtra XVIII of 2005) the Government or Maharashtra vide Government Notification, Water Resources Department, No MWRRA Selection 2005/78/05, dated the 12th August, 2005, has established the Water Resources Regulatory Authority.Now, therefore, In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 4 read with sub sections (4) and (5) of section 3 of Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority Act, 2005 (Maharashtra XVIII of 2005), the Government of Maharashtra, on the recommendation of Selection Committee, hereby appoints Shri A. K. D. Jadhav, an expert from the field or Water Resources Economy, as a Member of the said authority, for a period of three years from the date of on which he enters upon his office or he has attained the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
