Section 19 · Period of probation

- (i) Officers recruited directly to the Service shall be on probation for two years and officers promoted from the Bihar Engineering Sen/ice, Class II, shall be on probation for one year. At any time during the probationary period the Governor may dispense with the services of an officer recruited directly after giving him one month's notice and may revert a promoted officer to his substantive appointment in the Bihar Engineering Service, Class II.
(ii)
An officer whose services are dispensed with or who is reverted under clause (i) shall not be entitled to any compensation.Your private note on this section
