Section 70 ·

Officials of tramway operator to be public servants - All persons in the employment of the tramway operator or a tramway official or a sub-contractor or in the employment of an entity by the State Government under section 10 or section 15 or a tramway official or a sub-contractor, as the case may be, to undertake any activities, shall, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of Section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860(Central Act No. 45 of 1860 ).
