धारा 4 · Procedure, Quorum and Minutes of District Committee meeting

(1)

Every notice, calling for meeting of the District Committee shall, -

(a)

specify the place, date and hour of the meeting.

(b)

be served upon every member of the District Committee not less than seven clear days before the day appointed for the meeting.

(2)

The chairperson shall prepare and circulate to the members along with the notice of the meeting, an agenda for such meeting showing the business to be transacted.

(3)

The quorum for the meeting shall be not less than four. If within half-an-hour of the time appointed for the meeting, quorum is not present, the meeting shall be adjourned to the same day in the following week at the same time and place and the presiding officer of such meeting shall inform this to the members present and the notice to the other members shall be communicated by speed post.

(4)

The minutes of the meeting shall be communicated to the Government and the Competent Authority.
