धारा 4 · Members to take oath of Office

- Every member of Panchayat shall take the oath of office before the Oath Officer, in the form appended to these rules.Form for Taking Oath of Office(See rule 4)I, have been elected as a member of Panchayat do swear in the name of God/solemnly affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by Law established, and that I will duly and faithfully to the best of my ability, knowledge and judgement perform the duties of my office as member without fear or favour or affection or ill will.SignatureBefore meBlock Development Officer...................................
