धारा 10 · The Chancellor

(1)

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi shall be the first Chancellor and shall hold office during his lifetime.

(2)

After the First Chancellor, the Executive Council shall appoint a Chancellor from amongst persons of eminence and renewed scholar, who shall hold office for a term of five years and shall be eligible for reappointment.

(3)

The Chancellor shall by virtue of his office, be the Head of the University.

(4)

The Chancellor shall if present, preside at the convocation of the University held for conferring degrees, and may delegate such powers as and when may be necessary.
