धारा 32 · Declaration as to any antiquity

(1)

Whoever owns or is in possession, custody or control of any antiquity, on the date of the coming into force of this Act, shall within the period of sixty days from the commencement of this Act, make a declaration to that effect to the Director, or to such authority, and in such form, as may be prescribed.

(2)

Whoever owns or comes in possession, custody or control of any antiquity after the coming into force of this Act, shall within the period of fifteen days of owning or coming into possession, custody or control of such antiquity, make a declaration to that effect to the Director, or to such authority, and in such form, as may be prescribed:Provided that the above provisions shall not apply to the officers of the Archaeological Survey of India.
