धारा 84 · Announcement of assessment how made

- When the assessment fixed by the settlement for the agricultural land is sanctioned by the Government a Survey Officer not lower in rank than an Assistant Commissioner or in his absence the Collector either himself or through any Deputy or Assistant Collector shall fix a date for the announcement of the assessment and at a reasonable time before hand make proclamation and on such date shall publicly announce the assessment fixed on each number. No person by being absent at the time of announcement shall be absolved from any liability to which he may be subject under the announcement of assessment.
